Penelope Cruz has been crowned Sexiest Woman Alive.
The Spanish actress, 40, has topped Esquire magazine’s annual list of desirable famous females – taking the crown from Scarlett Johansson.
Cruz told the magazine that her work choices have changed over the years.
She said: ‘I had an attraction to drama. I felt tempted to explore the darkness. I could not be less interested now.’
But she stayed tight-lipped over her marriage and two children with Skyfall actor Javier Bardem, saying ‘that is for us’.
